Rocky was bred by David Byrne In the Australian Capital Territory. His sire Wildmoor's Buccaneer is a buckskin stallion who stands at stud in Queensland.  Buck is a very successful show horse and is well known as the mascot of the Brisbane Broncos Rugby Team.  Rocky's dam is Wildmoor's Moonlight Invasion.

Rocky has been started under saddle in early 2000, and after a brief introduction, was shown in local open and Saddlebred classes and at the ASHAA National Show in February. He was successful in led and ridden classes.  

Rocky exemplifies the Saddlebred in his conformation and movement.  He has excellent bone and truly lovely ground-covering paces. As a perlino he would be of interest for those who love coloured horses.  He will produce Palomino and Buckskin foals. He has an outgoing nature and loves to please.  His foals consistently inherit his qualities.
