Training
We start horses under saddle. We have years of experience in riding and training gaited horses.
We start and train all our own horses and others right here at Narawin Stud. Not only does it give invaluable insight into each horse, but it ensures that they get the best possible start to a career under saddle, particularly in the case of gaited prospects.
Our training methods are gentle and tailored to the individual requirements of each horse. We do not use artificially lengthened hooves, extreme weights or any other methods which may adversely affect the well-being of any horse.
Our training is based on classical dressage principles and a sound understanding of psychology, confomation and movement.

Education
We are more than happy to accomodate visitors wishing to find out more about gaited horse and hope to be running short courses for gaited horses in the future.
We are happy to show the horses and facilities to school and TAFE classes, clubs and other organisations. We also welcome veterinary science and other students wishing to undertake some practical work.
