OliVaylle P/L in far western Victoria started breeding horses under the AuSome prefix in 1999. It was the first Australian horse stud to import Paso Fino horses to Australia. The horses were transported from Florida and settled well into their new home. Their bloodlines are mainly Puerto Rican.

A few years later, three Peruvian Paso horses were imported from California. OliVaylle also purchased foundation stock to breed Australian Stockhorses and Andalusian horses.

The prefix AuSome stands for quality, in both the pure and cross bred horses at the stud. The breeding goal is gait, temperament, trainability, conformation and looks.

Due to retirement, most of the horses will be offered for sale. This is a unique opportunity for breeders and aficionados of Paso horses to acquire Paso Finos, Peruvian Pasos and Paso Creole horses. There are also several outstanding Spanish/Andalusian horses and Australian Stockhorses for sale.

All listings have been updated. New photos and additional information has been added for most of the horses still for sale.

All purebred Andalusians have now been sold. Several Australian Stockhorses have also been sold, leaving only a couple of very nice fillies and Yallatup Regal Remedy.

Most of the Peruvian Pasos have found new homes, but three good young stallions are still looking for homes. There are still some pure Paso Fino mares left, and one gelding, but hurry if you want one, as this opportunity will not come up again any time soon.

There are still a number of Paso Creole horses, both mares and geldings. Quite a few have been sold recently, please check the listing. Some of these are registered partbreds with the Andalusian or American Saddlebred registries. Many are very well gaited and would make fantastic pleasure horses. But even if you are not interested in a gaited horse, you may find a fantastic riding horse for your purposes. But be quick, as they getting sold quite quickly now.

The sires used at OliVaylle are the resident stallions Don Cristobal Mako (Imp.USA), Capoeira BSN (Imp.USA), Yallatup Regal Remedy and Donlea Amparito Roco. In addition, the outside stallions Wildmoor Pilgrim Son, Dominguero NS and SHF Bruce were used.
